He'd fit right in here in NM...

A guy gets pulled over for driving the wrong way down a highway.

He's drunk and has an open can of beer in the car.

Also, his two-year-old is in the backseat, no carseat, no seatbelt. Nor is the driver wearing a seatbelt.

Also, the car was uninsured.

Also, the inspection tag was expired.

Also, the license plates belong to a different car.

Sweet lord, it must have felt like Christmas came a couple months early for that cop.

That's priceless.

I may have mentioned this already, but my parents sometimes read the police log in the local newspaper. Just after we moved to Vermont, there was a listing about some guy who got repeatedly pulled over for various things (most often for driving without a license, since it'd been taken away for some other stupid thing he'd done). He was ticketed several times and told to not drive until he had his license back. This did not work. Solution? The police removed the battery from his truck. I suppose they just kept it captive until he was about to get his license back.
